Hi there, folks,
Tarranoth, the game I mentioned almost a year and a half ago now, has been live for many months now. I actually thought I'd created a topic saying so, but evidently I was wrong. If you're interested in sinking your teeth into a browser-based game with quests, unique races, a solid statistical system and various guilds, Tarranoth might be for you. You can come and give us a try at the following URL:
http://www.tarranoth.com
Also of note: if any of you are knowledgeable about PHP and/or SQL programming, we'd love to hear from you. We have plenty of ideas and a bit of a backlog of them, but only one fairly overworked programmer at the moment, so more coding help is something we dearly could use in order to make the game progress faster. Drop me a line here, say hi on the game or send me a PM if you're interested in such.
We're also interested in revamping our graphics, but I'm aware that a site populated mostly by visually impaired people is not generally the place to ask for visual aid. Heh. That said, though, if you who read perhaps have an aptitude for pixel art, or know people who do, we'd love to hear from you.
Please understand, the game itself is already live and functional; it is easily possible to reach approximately level 65-70 without having to fight too far below your own level, and while fresh ideas are welcome, we are not advertising for someone to come and create the rest of our game from a written standpoint. Quests, areas, monsters and items are something we can handle, on paper at least; we simply need some PHP help to take some of the stress off our head programmer and thus flesh out the game. I'm really hoping someone around here can help in that charge. Even if you can't, though, we look forward to seeing you if you decide to stop by.
